Wait Playfully is operated by Clear Flow Media LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through waitplayfully.com and related pages, games, and services, and what we do with it.
Wait Playfully is built to collect as little as possible. Guests do not create accounts, are never asked for personal information, and are not tracked across other websites.
No accounts, no personal information. You can view a business page and play games without giving us your name, email address, phone number, or anything else. We do not ask, and there is nothing to sign up for.
View counts. We count how often a business page is viewed. IP addresses are anonymized before we store them and are used only to tell one visit apart from another. We share aggregate view counts with the participating business and with sponsors. Those reports do not identify individual people.
Server logs. Our web hosting provider automatically records standard server log information, including IP address, browser and device type (user agent), requested page, and timestamp. These logs are generated by the hosting infrastructure and are used for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. We do not use them to identify visitors, build profiles, or target advertising. They are retained according to the hosting provider's standard log retention period (currently 7 days) and then overwritten.
Advertising. Advertisements shown through the Service are either sold directly by us to local sponsors or run through an affiliate advertising network we participate in ourselves. Each ad is labeled "Sponsor Advertisement" or "Affiliate Link" so you can tell which one you're looking at. Neither kind is personalized or chosen using information about you: which ad appears is picked at random for the location you're at, not based on anything about you.
Clicking an affiliate-network ad hands you off to that network's own tracking domain as part of how it attributes the referral, before redirecting you on to the advertiser's own site. That network may set its own cookie or use similar tracking technology as part of that process; its privacy practices are its own, governed by its own privacy policy, not this one. We do not receive or store anything from that tracking ourselves beyond a simple click count.
When a business or sponsor sets up an account or purchases advertising, we collect:
We use this to set up and administer the account, publish the business listing or advertisement, handle billing, provide support, send transactional messages about the account, and enforce our Terms.
Account activity is logged, including IP address, for access metrics, security, and troubleshooting.
Using the contact form is voluntary. It collects your name, email address, phone number (optional), your message, and the IP address and user agent of the submission for spam prevention.
We use this only to respond to you and to keep a record of the request. We do not add contact form submissions to a marketing list.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers and other payment credentials are submitted directly to Stripe and are never received or stored by us. We receive confirmation of payment, the billing status of a subscription, and limited details such as the last four digits and card brand. Stripe's handling of that information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or third-party marketing pixels on our own domain.
The Service may use strictly necessary cookies or local browser storage to keep a game session working, remember a display preference, or keep an account signed in. This information stays on your device and is not used to identify you. See "Advertising" above for the one exception: a third-party affiliate network's own tracking when you click through one of its ads, which isn't something we set or control.
We do not currently use third-party analytics services such as Google Analytics. If we add one, we will update this policy to identify the provider before or when it goes into use.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We keep business and sponsor account information for as long as the account is active and afterward as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Contact form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle the request and maintain a reasonable record. Server logs are kept for the hosting provider's standard retention period (currently 7 days). Anonymized view counts may be kept indefinitely because they do not identify anyone.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections and limited access to account data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Guests are never asked for personal information at all. If you believe a child has submitted information through the contact form, contact us and we will delete it.
Business and sponsor account holders may review, correct, or request deletion of their account information by contacting us. A business may also ask us to remove its listing at any time.
Anyone may ask what information we hold about them and request its deletion. We will respond within a reasonable time. Because guests are not identified, we generally have no way to locate information about a specific guest.
Transactional messages about an account cannot be opted out of while the account is active. Marketing messages, where used, include an unsubscribe link.
Advertisements and links may take you to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own. This policy does not apply to them.
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be noted on the Service or sent to account holders.
